
About The Flour District

Hi friends!

My name is Amanda, owner and baker for The Flour District. I am married to the man of my dreams and I am a stay at home mom of four beautiful children. My husband and I have a boy toddler and a set of infant girl triplets. (Yes, I stay busy. No, I don't know how I do it. Haha!) In 2019, I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

The idea for The Flour District came in 2023. I have always had a passion for cooking and baking. Though I proudly graduated with my business degree, a part of me always regretted not going to culinary school like I originally wanted when I was a little girl. Life just didn't go as planned. I mentioned that regret quite often when my husband finally said "you don't have to go to school to start your own bakery, just use what you know and teach yourself the rest". He set the wheels in motion at that moment and has been behind this dream 1000% every since!

I say food is my love language. Here in my home, I serve my food to those I truly love and care for most in this world. Now, it makes me so happy to expand my passion even further and bring a little of that love into your household.
